Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Investment Analysis & Support

  • Conduct due diligence and detailed research on new investment opportunities (public equities, private markets, real estate, alternatives, etc.).
  • Build and maintain robust financial models for existing and potential investments.
  • Monitor and report on portfolio performance, including returns, risk, and diversification.
  • Prepare comprehensive investment reports, memos, and presentations for stakeholders.

Data Management & Research

  • Gather and analyse financial and market data from Bloomberg and other platforms.
  • Use Python (with Pandas, NumPy, matplotlib) and Excel to automate data processing, build analytical tools, and visualize portfolio trends.
  • Integrate with APIs (e.g., Bloomberg Open API/BLPAPI) for efficient data extraction and reporting.
  • Conduct ongoing market, economic, and sector research, providing concise updates and actionable insights.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in investment analysis, asset management, consulting, or a similar environment.
  • Alternatively, 1+ years of hands-on software development experience (fresh graduates with strong project portfolios are also encouraged to apply).
  • Proficient in Python for data analysis and automation (including Pandas, NumPy, matplotlib) and comfortable with API integration (Bloomberg Open API/BLPAPI).
  • Strong command of Bloomberg Terminal and other financial data sources.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent research, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Highest level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality.

Desirable

  • Familiarity with additional analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) or programming languages (e.g., R, SQL).
