Job Description

What The Role Is About

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive intern to support the Employer Partnerships and Placement (EPP) team in employer engagement, job placement coordination, and database management. This role offers hands-on experience in recruitment operations, stakeholder communications, and event coordination while contributing to meaningful employment outcomes for mid-career transitioners.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Job Placement Support

  • Assist in job leads scraping and updating job databases

  • Coordinate job-sharing initiatives by posting roles and tracking candidate applications.

  • Assist in creating cohort’s profile summary for potential employers

2. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Conduct phone calls with jobseekers, alumni, and employers to gather information, and update records.

  • Assist in new employer outreach via email, LinkedIn messages and follow-ups.

3. Event Coordination & Outreach Materials

  • Prepare materials needed for employer events

  • Assist in coordination and logistics for employer events 

4. Data Management & Reporting

  • Update employer and candidate databases 

  • Document project processes 

  • Compile interview and event feedback for jobseekers and employers

Qualifications/Skills

  • Currently enrolled in a diploma or undergraduate program from any discipline (also open to graduates/career switchers or individuals looking for internship experience)

  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, familiarity with Excel, data entry, database management

  • Excellent planning, record-keeping and organizing skills

  • Familiarity with social media platforms such as LinkedIn
