Job Description

As a Business Operations Intern at Embed Global, you’ll play a key supporting role across our business—from helping build pitch materials and analyzing market trends to conducting research, supporting client presentations, and working directly with the leadership team on strategic priorities. You will be a generalist at heart, a fast learner, and someone who thrives in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, analytically sharp, resourceful, and excited to contribute to many parts of a growing startup.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Support strategic initiatives across business development, marketing, product, and operations.
  • Conduct market research on embedded insurance, fintech, and relevant sectors across Southeast Asia and beyond.
  • Help prepare and refine investor and client-facing materials, including pitch decks, proposals, product demos, and partnership documentation.
  • Join client and partner meetings to support follow-ups, note-taking, and execution of next steps.
  • Collaborate closely with the BD and marketing teams on go-to-market activities, including outreach strategy, lead tracking, and campaign planning.
  • Analyze internal data and external insights to support business decisions and reporting needs.
  • Assist with ad-hoc operational tasks that keep the company running smoothly—think of it as the ultimate startup bootcamp.

What You’ll Bring To The Table:

  • A current university student or recent graduate (Business, Economics, Marketing, Communications, or related fields).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in creating slide decks and written summaries.
  • Adaptability and a get-things-done mindset—you’re not afraid to figure things out on the fly.
  • A keen interest in startups, fintech, and the future of insurance and digital platforms.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with tools like Notion, Google Slides, Excel, and CRM platforms is useful.
  • Bonus: Experience with automation tools or willingness to learn (e.g., Zapier, Notion, etc.)
