Founded in 1965, Yuan Sang is the leading wholesaler for dried seafood products and other ingredients found in Asian cuisines. As a whole, our company constantly seeks for any opportunity to bring Yuan Sang to greater heights. We pro-actively engage in the improvements of our business processes so as to stay relevant in the industry.
Currently, Yuan Sang focuses on business to business (B to B) sales, supplying our products to more than 900 customers. Our customer base ranges from renowned restaurants such as Din Tai Feng, Supermarkets such as Sheng Shiong as well as various hawkers who use our products in their foods.
As you enjoy your meal in a restaurant or have a family dinner at a nearby hawker center, chances are that Yuan Sang had an integral part in bringing the different flavors together to create your favourite dish.
We are looking for suitable candidates to support our assistant manager in various projects with the aim of developing the business of the company.
- Take charge of the marketing activity of the company, focusing on digital marketing and some traditional marketing.
- Be part of the team to brainstorm ideas to improve the efficiency of the business flow in the company.
- First hand involvement in the management of our Cold Rooms and Warehouses and witness how the company manages their warehouse operations.
- Undertake ad hoc duties
Interning at Yuan Sang will allow you to gain valuable insights and experiences about the wholesale trade in Singapore. You will also learn how various departments within Yuan Sang fit together to make our company a leading wholesaler in our industry. Working in SMEs are different as compared to working in a corporate firm. If you are not willing to get hands on occasionally, Yuan Sang may not be suitable for you.
This internship is best suited for Undergraduates studying business management however applicants from other disciplines are welcome to apply as well.
