Role Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Compliance Associate (Trainee) to assist with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) processes and procedures. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance while learning about the evolving blockchain and cryptocurrency landscape. High-performing interns may be considered for a full-time position upon successful completion of the internship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in AML-related procedures to screen and assess clients, ensuring all required documentation is collected, verified, and accurately recorded.
- Assist in monitoring transactions for AML compliance, identifying and reporting suspicious activity.
- Collaborate with other teams, including legal, operations, and product development, to streamline compliance workflows.
- Support the development and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures in line with industry regulations.
- Research and stay updated on global and regional AML and KYC regulations, particularly in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space.
- Provide administrative support for compliance audits and investigations as needed.
Requirements:
- Current student or recent graduate in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field.
- Strong interest in blockchain, cryptocurrency, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools.
- Familiarity with AML/KYC frameworks and regulations is a plus but not required.
