The key function of the Marketing Intern will be focused on creating Digital campaigns and managing the social media platforms.

Job Description for Marketing Intern

• Writing press releases and online content
• Attend media events where relevant
• Sourcing for partners, collaborators and securing sponsorship opportunities as relevant;
• Help to manage and drive online traffic to Droo!’s online platforms with webrelated campaigns
• Assist with sponsorship proposals and presentation materials
• Assist with organizing Drool events
• Conducting market research such as customer questionnaires and focus groups;
• Evaluating the results of a marketing campaign;
• Contributing to, and assist in developing marketing plans and strategies;
• Monitoring industry trends and competitor activity;
• Submit monthly activity report

In order to assess if you are the right candidate for this position, the intern will be required to submit a one month rough plan using Drool’s various social media platforms with the objective to gain followers and drive traffic to the website Droo!

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Business Studies / Administration / Management, Marketing, Advertising/Media, Mass Communications or equivalent
• Candidates with experience in Media & Events will have an added advantage. 
• Ability to react quickly to situations, think on your feet, resourceful and pay attention to details. Self-motivated with a positive “can-do” attitude, creative with excellent presentation, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills including strong
  persuasive techniques.
• A go-getter with the ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Adaptable, flexible, strong analytical skills and committed with a high level of initiative.
