Wee Hur Holdings Ltd (Group) is a listed company on the Singapore Exchange, with businesses in property development, construction, worker’s dormitory, fund management and purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA). We are seeking a driven, motivated and passionate systems and projects intern as we embark upon our exciting new phase of growth and expansion in the PBSA sector in several major cities in Australia.

You will be employed under Wee Hur Hospitality Pte Ltd (Company), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Group, which is the entity that is responsible for the success of our PBSA management brand. You will report directly to the General Manager. You will be based in Singapore, and will be required to work closely with all departments within the Group.

Job Description

This is a dynamic and exciting role where the intern can get maximum exposure and the exciting opportunity of being part of a start-up emerging journey! You get full range of experience in corporate strategy, planning and operations, including the setting up of professional frameworks and systems to ensure compliance and performance. You will work with a wide variety of stakeholders across brand, marketing, tech, and sales to ensure that the company is able to execute its strategy, align all internal stakeholders, strengthen the quality of services and performance of staff, and professionalise its corporate operations. Key responsibilities:

Attending to all setup and incorporation matters pertaining to a new entity

Attending to setup of key functions such as accounting, payroll and HR

Writing applications for grants, government support/assistance, and researching the like

Designing decks/ppts for investors, clients, interested stakeholders, end customers

Administrative and ad-hoc tasks in relation to the start-up daily operations

Set up of domain, server, and website as well as related trademark matters

Perform market and competitor analysis

Speak to students to get validation and feedback on app features and design

Help to promote app to student communities and obtain continuous feedback

Work with the team in the design and ideation process

Assist the company leader in drafting strategy, business plans, OKR implementation/framework, and budget/revenue projections

Assist in setting up Asana, the project management and OKR tool for all the entire team

Research on total addressable and served market size and total value of the revenue that can be captured

Work with the founder on fundraising, employee shareholding agreements, and investor relations

Actively build brand presence in the tech community, participate in community events, join associations groups, arrange for founder to attend/speak in networking events

Facilitate application to bootcamps and incubators

Speak to business owners, event organisers, and map out a list of all possible potential customers and reach out to them to build relationships and gather feedback and leads
