Job Summary
Develop and execute comprehensive test cases to validate software functionality and quality. Perform manual, functional, regression, and exploratory testing to identify defects and ensure product reliability. Report and document technical issues clearly to support timely resolution. Prepare and maintain detailed testing documentation to support quality assurance processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute detailed test cases to validate software features and performance
- Perform manual testing to verify software functionality against requirements
- Conduct functional testing to assess specific features and workflows
- Execute regression testing to ensure new changes do not impact existing functionality
- Carry out exploratory testing to identify unexpected issues and improve product robustness
- Report and document technical issues with clear descriptions to facilitate debugging and resolution
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive testing documentation to support quality assurance and audit requirements
- Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure software meets quality standards
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Currently pursuing or graduated with a degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Previous experience in Quality Assurance or software testing roles is advantageous
- Familiarity with Jira or similar issue tracking tools is a plus
- Prior hands-on testing experience is beneficial
