We are a quantitative trading and technology firm based in Singapore, specializing in systematic U.S. small-cap equities strategies. We combine advanced AI-driven research, multi-agent systems, and high-performance infrastructure to discover and exploit short-term market inefficiencies.

Our trading operation runs end-to-end — from data engineering and factor generation to strategy backtesting, execution, and risk management — fully developed in-house. We are building the next generation of AI-first quantitative trading systems, capable of learning, adapting, and generating alpha autonomously.

we operate at the intersection of finance, technology, and applied AI, providing interns with exposure to the real decision loops and infrastructure behind a modern quant fund.

Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly focused and disciplined Stock Execution Trader Intern to assist in monitoring live trading positions, managing executions, and ensuring operational accuracy across our small-cap trading desk. This role is ideal for someone who thrives under live market pressure, pays obsessive attention to detail, and wants real exposure to systematic and discretionary execution environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor live trading positions, ensuring orders, fills, and exposures are accurate in real time.

  • Track PnL, position sizing, and risk limits during trading hours.

  • Report anomalies, execution slippage, and connectivity issues to senior traders immediately.

  • Maintain execution logs, trade summaries, and discrepancy reports for compliance and review.

  • Assist in trade reconciliation and end-of-day (EOD) position checks.

  • Collaborate with the quant and operations teams to streamline order flow and reduce latency or errors.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of market microstructure, order types, and execution logic (limit, market, VWAP, TWAP, etc.).

  • Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets; familiarity with Python or SQL is a plus.

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to stay calm under fast-moving market conditions.

  • Strong interest in systematic trading, small-cap equities, or quantitative finance.

  • Must be available during US market hours (overnight Singapore time).

What You’ll Learn

  • Real-world trade execution workflow from order routing to post-trade reconciliation.

  • How systematic and discretionary execution interact in live markets.

  • Risk management and position monitoring under high-speed trading conditions.

  • Exposure to small-cap market dynamics and intraday trading strategies.
