JOB DESCRIPTION
What we are looking for
Unifide is looking for a UI/interaction designer with experience in designing for web and mobile platforms. You will work with prototyping and design tools to conceptualize interactive user interfaces. You will collaborate closely with Project, Design and Engineering to spec, design, test and deploy web products.
A typical week
- You’ll brainstorm with project and engineering team to conceptualize web and mobile interfaces
- You’ll collaborate with the design team to improve user experiences through UX studies
- You’ll design wireframes and high-fidelity web and mobile user experiences with a good understanding of applying brand guidelines, grid systems, typography, and appropriate graphics usage
QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements
- 1-2+ Years of experience designing for web and mobile platforms
- Understanding of web/mobile design best practices
- Understanding of user stories
- Experience with sketch and other visual prototyping tools (e.g. marvelapp, invisionapp)
- Experience with adobe creative suite
- Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and empathy
- Self awareness and a desire to continually improve
Bonus points
- Academic background in visual design
- Familiar with UX methodologies and deliverables and/or experience in working with a UX team
- Experience in small startup environments
