Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner to coordinate and optimize production schedules in a dynamic engineering environment. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams to ensure materials, capacity, and timelines align with customer and project requirements.

  • Data Analysis and Forecasting: Understanding of data analysis techniques and forecasting methods.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Planning and Scheduling: Developing and maintaining production schedules, considering lead times, capacity constraints, and other factors.
  •  Resource Allocation: Ensuring the effective utilization of resources like materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Demand Forecasting: Analyzing sales data and other relevant information to forecast future demand and plan production accordingly.
  • Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels, ensuring timely delivery of raw materials, and preventing shortages or overstocking.
  • Collaboration: Working with other departments, such as sales, logistics, and engineering, to ensure smooth production processes.
  • Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving production issues, such as delays, bottlenecks, or material shortages.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
