Thrive was founded to assist foreign businesses set-up and grow in Asia. With a specialized F&B focus, the Thrive team covers all aspects of market entry: licensing, logistics, distributor management, and business development.
In addition to our market entry business, we have three businesses we are launching in 2018 for which we will be raising money, hiring full-time staff, and aiming to grow.
You are to provide various services that range from administrative to technical CRM to creative tasks and support the Thrive team. As the Operations/Event Associate, you will perform various administrative tasks, including answering emails, scheduling meetings, support in-market events and coordinating with external partners to ensure things run efficiently. Ultimately, you should be able to handle administrative projects and deliver high-quality work under minimum supervision.
You will have access to confidential information requiring absolute discretion at-all-times. The ability to organize and prioritize tasks is a key requirement. You will need to be able to plan, organize anticipate requirements well in advance to support the smooth running of the business. You will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the Managing Director’s work including appointments and the diary, travel and as required in addition to managing dates, producing all key paperwork for meetings, events, and/or workshops.
Communicate with a range of external stakeholders including Thrive's key client groups, with industry and business support at local and international levels. This role works across the organization to ensure that Thrive Asia operates intelligently and strategically.
Administrative
- Type documents, mail letters, and take notes
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, partners, and associates
- Schedule meetings and manage daily calendars
- Be a gentle reminder to people of what needs to get done and when
Marketing/Events Support
- Create presentations and sales materials
- Collaborate with writers, graphic artists, and designers
- Assist in planning and executing in market brand activation
Professional Support
- Handle financial tasks in invoicing and accounting
- Make business purchases and deal with vendors
Sales Support
- Monitoring and maintaining CRM
- Accountable and adopts a ‘business-owner’ work mentality
- Has excellent communication skills and can engage with a diversity of people
- Meticulous attention to detail and a proven track record of good ‘housekeeping’
- Takes initiative to problem solve quickly and with minimal disruption
- Flexible and has an ability to multi-task in a demanding, fast-paced environment
