Are you passionate about 3D printing and looking to kickstart your career in a hands-on, dynamic environment? Think Design Make (TDM) is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Intern to join our team! This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in the 3D printing industry while working on real-world projects.
What We’re Looking For
- Polytechnic/University undergraduates currently pursuing diploma/degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical or a related field.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and fundamentals.
- Proactive and motivated individual with a genuine passion for 3D printing, design, and fabrication.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; public speaking or teaching experience is an advantage.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Dedication to professional conduct and representing the company positively.
- Collaborative mindset, thriving in a team-based setting.
Preferred: experience with 3D printing, 3D modeling (preferably Fusion 360), and rapid prototyping
What You’ll Do
As a TDM Intern, you will:
- Innovate and Optimise: Design and develop custom fixtures and jigs to enhance the operations of our 3D print farm.
- Support Customers: Assist in responding to customer inquiries, generating quotations, and fulfilling orders.
- Project Involvement: Contribute to ongoing projects, including design, fabrication, finishing, and quality control.
- Represent TDM: Be a brand ambassador at external events such as classes, expos, and private events.
Internship Details
- Working Hours: 9 AM – 530 PM (Monday to Friday)
- Duration: 16 weeks or more
- Stipend: SGD 250 per week
Additional Notes
Interns are expected to maintain professional communication, adhere to the internship timeline, and represent TDM positively during and outside of working hours.
Proper care and handling of company resources (e.g., printers, filament, tools) are required.
All intellectual property created during the internship will be owned by TDM.
