Theme International Trading – Software Engineer

We are looking to build up our software engineering team to support the firm in developing and enhancing our trading tools and operational processes.

As an Associate Software Engineer, you will assist our Lead Software Engineer in various projects, such as to:

• understand the functions of financial markets and trading terms
• gain understanding in data structures, algorithms and optimization
• develop custom trading systems and design user interfaces for individual traders or team
• collaborate closely with traders to build algorithmic trading models for different assets classes while adhering to different Exchanges' regulations
• work closely with quantitative research team to formulate algorithmic trading models
• integrate APIs to improve the efficiency of micro-services processes
• present well-thought technological solutions to issues brought up by various departments of the firm
• proactively generate new ideas to improve efficiency of existing operational systems and enhance existing trading tools

REQUIREMENTS

Ideally, you:

• have background in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or related fields
• are proactive and driven to deliver results
• are proficient in either or all: C#, C++, Python
• are passionate about solving problems for various functions of the firm
• are able to work well in teams as well as individually
• are able to work in dynamic environment
• have keen eye for detail and strong sense of programming logic and structure for best practices
• have strong attention to detail and systematic approach to problem solving
