Theme International Trading – Junior Trader

Currently, we are seeking motivated individuals with entrepreneurial mindset to join our growing team. 

ROLE DESCRIPTION

• You will work closely with the core members of our team to learn the concepts of trading
• You will undergo a structured intensive training period of 12 weeks for you to acquire the concepts of:
  • trading the financial derivative markets (commodity / FX / Index)
  • market-making for exchange-listed products
  • logics behind algorithmic trading programmes
  • working with software engineers to generate effective and efficient trading models
• A permanent position may be offered upon satisfactory performance after the training period
• Performance will be measured based on sense of market actions, teamwork, attitude and overall deliverance of job tasks assigned

• Our team of experienced traders are here to share their knowledge and provide mentorship
• We encourage open communication for the curious minds and value proactiveness in solving problems and the sharing of trading ideas which make learning an efficient interactive process
• Long working hours, especially during training period
• Upon completion of the training period, the trainee may be given his/her own book to manage or share a book with our core traders.

REQUIREMENTS

• Able to handle stress in a hectic work environment
• Able to maintain good concentration and stay calm fast-paced and noisy trading environment
• Preferably have adequate life experience in situations involving risk-reward game theory scenarios
• A team player - willing to work together to generate and share trading ideas with team members
• Possess these characteristics: hungry, hardworking and humble
• Experience in competitive gaming would be a plus point
• Programming skillset would be a plus point
