Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in ensuring proactive planning, scheduling and production of a wide variety of public and private events including speaker events, dinner programs, business networking, health and wellness sessions, arts and cultural events.
- Assist in the program content development for events, create and coordinate the drafting/distribution of promotional materials, sell tickets
- Work with Marketing Team to plan and execute all marketing activities necessary to ensure successful events
- Quickly learn and assimilate our process for confirming private events from inquiry to confirmation.
- Negotiate rental fees with event producers, external companies and internal TWC members.
- Monitor the special events content on the website and social media sites to ensure they are updated
- Secure equipment and rentals as needed, set-up, tear-down, and help coordination of overall event execution
QUALIFICATIONS
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment and still meet deadlines
- Dynamic self-starter who takes initiative, highly reliable
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and follow- up skills. The ability to write fluently and succinctly is crucial.
- Proactive problem prevention and issue resolution leadership ability. Be able to manage unexpected problems without panic.
- Polished and professional when dealing with private clients, TWC members, prospective members, event sponsors, and executive management
- Ability to work well as part of a busy team
