Job Description

About the Role:

This internship offers hands-on experience in finance operations within a dynamic hospitality environment. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Intern to support various finance functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in receiving and checking all hotel deliveries in line with the hotel’s Policies & Procedures (P&P), including basic inspection, documentation, labeling, and storage.

  • Support the preparation and posting of Goods Received Notes (GRNs) and help update the inventory system to maintain accurate stock records.

  • Participate in regular inventory counts across hotel departments (e.g., F&B, housekeeping, engineering) and assist in comparing physical stock with system records.

  • Assist in identifying basic discrepancies in inventory records and escalating issues to supervisors for further review.

  • Support the compilation of simple daily or weekly inventory and cost summaries for review by the supervisors.

  • Help monitor wastage, spoilage, and stock variances and report visible wastage or spoilage to the supervisors.

  • Coordinate with the purchasing and accounting teams, as needed, to support general inventory and cost control activities.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a bachelor's degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
  • Good command of verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. 
  • Hands-on and positive attitude with initiative.
