Job Description

The Restaurant Supervisor is someone who is passionate about the product offerings and customer service, a problem- solver with strong work ethic and leadership skills. 

The Restaurant Supervisor understands that customer satisfaction always takes priority but efficient restaurant operations make it possible. The Restaurant Supervisor is an experienced leader with a goal to move up in the management field.

Your primary duties will involve;

  • Setting up and managing of outlets which will include pre-opening activities and coordination, day to day operations, cashiering, liaison with suppliers as and when required to manage deliveries, customer service, order taking, inventory management, overall rostering and other related matters. 
  • You will report to the Restaurant Manager and work closely with the Manager to hit sales targets and participate in other adhoc special projects as and when required.
  • You are expected to demonstrate a high standard of performance, product knowledge and customer service. You will have a ‘can do’ attitude and work cohesively as ‘1Team’.
  • Overall customer satisfaction and experience will be the hallmark of success at The Singapura Club chain of restaurants and you will play an integral part in providing quality service and friendliness at all times as a Restaurant Supervisor.

Your role includes;

  • Identifying and delegating responsibilities to shift leaders and staff to ensure objectives are met and excellent service is consistently achieved.
  • Manage operations with passion, integrity, and knowledge while promoting the culture and values of the brand.
  • Participate in implementing new company policies and procedures by developing plans and instructing staff.
  • Provide direction to shift leaders, and staff to achieve café/restaurant goals.
  • Consistently review operations and staff to identify any problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Create a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of service and ensuring all staff engage guests to understand their needs and exceed expectations.
  • Manage the café/restaurant to meet or exceed standards in food quality, safety, and cleanliness .
  • Solicit guest feedback to understand the needs and wants of customers.
  • Follow the Company policies and procedures, including those for cash handing and safety/security.
  • Monitor and maintain the POS System.
  • Assist and participate in new menu implementation. 
  • Assist in conducting staff and daily pre-shift meetings.
  • Coaching, guiding and mentoring a team under you whilst also working closely with the rest of the operational team at The Singapura Club.
  • Assist in any areas of the restaurant when staffing constraints require.
