Job Description

What You’ll Do (Paid Sales Scope)

Your paid component is focused on in-person selling, mainly:

1) Pop-up Sales

  • Set up and run pop-ups alongside the team

  • You will learn: retail sampling, conversion scripting, basic performance tracking

  • Track daily sales and learn what scripts and angles convert best

  • Help us play around with booth design and improve our presentation style

2) Door-to-Door / On-Site Outreach

  • Help us identify and shortlist high-fit partners (e.g., office pantries, gyms, cafés, studios)

  • You will learn: how to qualify B2B leads fast (pain points, decision makers, buying cycles), how to record simple field data that turns into a real pipeline

  • Hand off warm leads to founders, and shadow us on next steps

This is a hands-on, people-facing role with measurable outcomes.

Optional Unpaid Mentorship (limited by hours)

We’re happy to provide structured mentorship beyond sales, tailored to your interests:

  • Marketing fundamentals and brand positioning

  • Partnership and community growth from a startup perspective

  • Pricing psychology and unit economics

  • Content and campaign thinking

  • How a lean startup tests and scales channels

  • Contract drafting and negotiations

This is entirely optional and 100% for your own learning.

I'll drop the formal tone and be real for a moment. We all started from very different career paths, and we're so glad we wound upn here. I (Zane here) worked really hard to become a lawyer, and I honestly had it pretty good. But I love entrepreneurship more, and I honestly wish I tried it earlier. If our experiences help you figure things out, great. If that's not for you, that's cool too, we're here if you want to give anything a go.

Compensation

This internship consists of a base pay of $10 an hour, and performance-based incentives.

What Success Looks Like

By the end of the internship, you’ll have:

  • Real numbers you can put on your resume (revenue per hour/day, conversion rates, top scripts)

  • A practical field-sales toolkit

  • A short case study on customer psychology and live selling

You Might Be a Great Fit If You…

  • Enjoy talking to new people

  • Are comfortable working in energetic, public environments

  • Want confidence and real-world selling skills

  • Like health/fitness/food brands

Real talk again: the main thing we're looking for is someone generally positive and chill. We don't need prior sales experience, and we don't mind if you take time to figure things out.

Application Instructions
Please apply for this position by submitting your text CV using InternSG.
By default, we'll only notify shortlisted candidates, but if you don't hear back after a week or so you can let us know if you'd like feedback on your application. We'll let you know (gently) what we think other employers may look for.
