Website Designer Intern - About the Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and motivated Website Designer Intern to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a live, real-world project to create engaging and user-friendly website for our company. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience, develop your skills, and contribute to meaningful projects that impact our brand’s online presence.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain websites using platforms such as WordPress, Weebly, and similar content management systems (CMS).

  • Collaborate with the marketing and development teams to ensure websites align with brand guidelines and project goals.

  • Create visually appealing and responsive web designs that enhance user experience across devices.

  • Assist in updating and optimizing existing websites for performance, SEO, and accessibility.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues related to website functionality.

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to propose creative design solutions.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in WordPress, Weebly, and other CMS platforms.

  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript is a plus.

  • Understanding of responsive design principles and user experience (UX) best practices.

  • Basic knowledge of SEO and web accessibility standards.

  • Creative mindset with an eye for detail and a passion for design.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

  • Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a relevant program (e.g., Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or related field) is preferred but not required.
