Job Description

AmChamSG seeks a dynamic fresh graduate to apply for the position of Assistant to the Chief of Staff. This full-time position reports to the Chief of Staff, provides high-level marketing and communications, project management, office operations and event services support to the Chief of Staff and, by extension, the CEO or executive leadership team.

The Assistant to the Chief of Staff provides high-level administrative, project management, and strategic support to the Chief of Staff and, by extension, the CEO or executive leadership team. This role is a critical link between the Chief of Staff and various internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a proactive, organized, and resourceful individual with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. This role requires the ability to handle confidential information with discretion, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Major Responsibilities

Marketing and Communications

  • Support the design and management of online digital content (website, e-newsletter and social media)
  • Assist in writing of social media content, design of social media graphics, and managing the social media calendar
  • Assist in event photography and development of video content (filming, editing, etc.)

Project Management:

  • Support the Chief of Staff in tracking and managing key organizational projects and initiatives
  • Coordinate with various departments and teams to ensure alignment and timely completion of tasks

Office Operations and Event Services:

  • Provide support to ensure the smooth running of the AmChamSG Hub
  • Assist respective internal teams to support smooth execution of events
  • Support the planning and execution of event details including room setup, audiovisual equipment, and lighting
  • Liaise with internal teams and external partners, including senior leadership, staff, members, and vendors

Support other initiatives of the Chamber as required

Qualifications 

  • Fresh graduates encouraged to apply, no experience required.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with a wide range of people.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other productivity tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
