The Intern, Motion Graphics, will work closely with his mentor and supervisor and is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing visually stunning motion graphics projects that captivate and engage our target audiences. As part of the Motion Graphics team, he/she will collaboratively create as part of our in-house team to bring ideas to life through motion graphics, visual effects, and animation.
The intern will be part of the STUDIO+65 team and reports directly to his/her mentor (AV Editor) and supervisor (Lead, Post Production).
Key Responsibilities:
To assist the Motion Graphic Designer in projects and/or take on solo projects when necessary.
To learn and be exposed to a “real world working environment”, understanding and see how a production studio and post-production facility function, bringing a production project to its fruition.
To continuously learn and improve one’s skills and knowledge.
To collaborate with various creative and production team members to develop mood boards, storyboarding and motion graphics concepts and to ensure that projects are delivered on time while meeting quality standards.
To create visually appealing and dynamic motion graphics across platforms and formats as and when required.
To use industry-standard specialized software to create and manipulate 2D and 3D animated and motion graphics, digital images, video, and visual effects.
Requirements:
Pursuing a diploma or degree in media, film/video post-production from any IHL.
Proficiency in industry-standard software, including Adobe CC After Effects, Autodesk Maya, Maxon Cinema 4D or Autodesk 3Ds Max. Additional knowledge in Epic Games Unreal Engine will be an added advantage.
Able to multi-task, time-manage and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
A team player who communicates and collaborates well with others.
Keen interest in the media and entertainment industry.
Proficiency in English with another language e.g. Chinese, Malay or Tamil being an added advantage.
Social media-savvy, familiar with the trend-setting social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram (Insta Story) will be an added advantage
