Our client is a Fintech startup backed by a top global incubator. Headquartered in Singapore with operations across South East Asia, they provide small and medium businesses convenient financial services including debit and credit card products, digital banking and cash management systems.

The Job

Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for:

• Monitoring consistent reporting across the company's countries of operations
• Submitting timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial close documents
• Preparing Group consolidation across five countries, liaising with local and regional Finance teams and outsourced accountants
• Liaising with auditors and tax agents
• Ensuring all transactions are accounted for in accordance with IFRS 

The Profile

• You have a degree in Accounting & Finance, ACCA or equivalent
• You have at least 3 years experience in relevant field with expertise in financial / banking accounting
• Experience in Big 4 is highly preferred
• You ideally are proficient in accounting systems, such as Xero or Quickbooks
• You are a highly analytical and critical thinker, with strong problem solving skills
• You have a sense of ownership and pride in your performance
• You possess strong interpersonal and communication capabilities
• You are able to operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
