The Job

You will be responsible for :

• To review tender documents and other related documents and find out relevant information necessary for tender.
• To estimate for costing purpose for tender for Mechanical work scope (Piping, tank, equipment, fire fighting etc), including finding out cost and sourcing for supplier/ subcon.
• Work with other proposal team members and other department including engineering, procurement, project and BD on tender estimation and submission.
• To support others disciplines (incl. civil, E&I etc) in proposal department for various works that may need when required, including documentation.
• To report to Proposal Manager, and carry out any other works required.
• To support tender activities when required including all related documentation works e.g. prequalification document etc.
• To support BD activities as and when required especially in connection with Tender works, including follow up with Client on submitted tenders, calling clients, meetings etc.
• Occasionally may need to travel to overseas for tendering / BD activity.
• Any other works as instructed by Proposal manager and/or BD manager.
• Give support (e.g. QS, project department, etc) on matters relating to price estimation etc.

Ideal Candidate

• Minimum around 2 to 3 yrs experience in relevant field preferably with Plant (Oil & Gas, Chemical, Infrastructure, Power Plant) / Industrial related.
• Good spoken & written English to be able to liaise effectively to different stakeholders across the region.
• Experience in costing, tender, project, site experience preferred. Strong in MS Excel, good skill on other MS Office.
• Applicant must be either Singaporean or Singaporean PR
• Added Advantage: - With design experience. - Able to read drawings and prepare simple Autocad drawings. - Experience at BIM or any other estimation software.
