Job Description

The Job

As a Junior QA Engineer, you will develop, integrate and maintain various automated test frameworks to validate versions released. You will also lead web testing, write test scenarios and coordinate remote locations on auto-testing.

You will be responsible for :

  • Reacting to issues by adding or writing new test scenarios to detect similar issues 
  • Supporting the Tech Lead in building tools, testing cases and tracking down issues (e.g. gathering of metrics and logs to document issues)
  • Participating in peer reviewing of code to maintain code quality, reliability & reusability for testing & deployment.
  • Liaising with Dev Team to help address or document third-party issues.
  • Managing and coordinating remote location (codev) on automatic testing.
  • Supporting technical testing for game backend.

The Profile

  • You possess a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
  • You have at least 1 year experience, ideally within a Quality Assurance / Testing or Software Engineer role.
  • You possess strong knowledge of C#, C++ and Python.
  • You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard.
  • You are passionate about gaming and you have shipped AAA games in your previous projects.
  • You have experience in working with various testing framework.
  • You are familiar with unit testing test suites and C++ debugging process.
  • You have proficiency in reusing, adopting and integrating existing code.
  • You have strong communication tactics/ knowledge sharing.
  • Expertise in Game Development would be highly valuable.
