Job Description

The Job

As a Junior Gameplay Programmer, you will work with a team and use analytical skills to research, develop and design games.

You will be responsible for:

  • Researching and implementing character simulation, game logic, and artificial intelligence for consoles games.
  • Developing gameplay features, and monitoring code to improve the degree of usability.
  • Simulating various AI behaviors by applying different algorithms and building flexible UI framework and supporting UI functions in the games.
  • Analyzing design documents and working with the game designers for the gameplay evolution.
  • Implementing game logic and relevant code for both the Client and Server Engines.
  • Developing editor tools for Level Designers’ implementation of game logic and characters’ behaviors.

The Profile

  • You possess Bachelor’s degree in the relevant fields or an equivalent industry experience.
  • You have excellent C/C++ programming skills and you have a good knowledge of object oriented development.
  • You have experience in game demo making/prototyping.
  • You have knowledge of basic algorithms and frameworks used in game creation.
  • You are self-motivated, proactive and you are proficient in English.
  • Experiences in Behavior Trees, Animation Trees/Graphs, and Path Finding/Navigation would be a significant plus.
  • Experience in game industry would be a strong plus, but not a must.
  • High potential graduates and Interns are welcome.
