Our client is an established firm creating and operating games with fun and fulfilling experiences across various platforms.

The Job

You will be responsible for :

• Programming and maintaining mobile game servers on Amazon Web Services.
• Developing and maintaining server-side frameworks, algorithms, debugging and code testing.
• Setting up and maintaining Amazon Web Services (EC2 Instances, S3, RDBS, Redis etc.).
• Implementing and maintaining RESTful Web APIs & client/server integration.
• Designing DB architecture, DB normalisation and general server architectures.
• Managing RDBMS, SQL queries, stored procedures and NoSQL.
• Working with everyone from QA to system admins to fix bugs and resolve production issues in a timely manner.

The Profile

• You have 2 years of experience developing web applications or server-side game backend using languages such as Node.JS, PHP or Python.
• You possess a good understanding of software development methodologies
• You have experience working with artists and designers
• You enjoy an environment where personal and professional development is encouraged and supported
• You are able to contribute in other areas such as game design
• You are creative, innovative and have excellent problem-solving skills
• You have excellent oral and written communication skills
• You are able to be self-directed within a team context
