Snaphunt Pte Ltd – Android Engineer

The Job

As an Android Developer, you will work closely with product, UX/UI and backend teams to design and build consumer-facing new products and features.

You will be responsible for

• Designing A/B tests on end-user behavior to continuously improve user experience based on data collected.
• Monitoring the performance of the live apps and work on optimizing them at the code level
• Reviewing your code with colleagues/internal teams
• Identifying bottlenecks and debugging the android application and improving application performance
• Partnering with backend and front end developers to build new features and integrations

The Profile

• You possess a degree in Computer Science or related field and have at least 2 years of related work experience.
• You are savvy with Android infrastructure(SDK), programming languages and fundamental concepts
• You are familiar with Java language and Kotlin language and have a good understanding of design patterns
• You have an in-depth understanding of data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, information retrieval, caching and data storage
• You have a strong foundation in MVP/OOP principles
• You are always optimising and building quality products and experiences for users
• You can work in teams, work with senior leadership and key stakeholders to ship products
• You are proficient in English and Mandarin as this position is required to communicate daily with Mandarin speaking colleagues in China
