The Job

Working with product managers, designers and business team, you will be writing your Infrastructure as code (IaC), building and managing infrastructure in the cloud and ensuring the implementation of DevOps best practices.

You will be responsible for :

• Managing deployments, fixes, updates and related processes.
• Taking ownership of the CI/CD process that will be utilized by teams to deliver the quality product.
• Implementing monitoring and alerting.
• Working closely with the engineering team to improve application performance and scalability.
• Building and maintaining tools, solutions and processes around the deployment of platforms to ensure no downtimes and reduced error rates.
• Creating and maintaining documentation and processes for troubleshooting, maintaining, and configuring systems.
• Demonstrating and communicating a passion for implementing highly scalable and maintainable infrastructures.

The Profile

• You have at least 2 years experience in DevOps/Infrastructure, System Administration or related field, ideally in the travel industry
• You have AWS Associate/Professional certifications, with expertise in deploying and maintaining applications in Cloud.
• You ideally have software development experience.
• You have experience in Docker and containers orchestration
• You have worked with immutable infrastructure, IaC principles, Agile, Lean and Continuous Delivery approaches.
• You have experience with Terraform at scale and module development/testing
• You possess knowledge of systems, servers, vpn, load balancers, storages, security, networking, monitoring, alerting etc.
• You are skilled with scripting languages (Python/Bash shell etc.) to automate dynamic cloud infrastructure.
• Prior experience with SQL, NoSQL databases and/or Linux will be an added advantage.
• You are passionate about building scalable architectures and systems and deliver top quality solutions.
• You have strong people skills and can contribute to an open and collaborative environment
• You have excellent communication skills and can articulate ideas and decisions to a variety of team members
• You are a strong team player and are always willing to lend a helping help!
