ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
The Singapore Red Cross Academy is the training arm of the Singapore Red Cross, dedicated to building community resilience by equipping individuals and organisations with essential humanitarian knowledge and skills. We are the region's go-to institute for humanitarian studies, offering a comprehensive suite of courses in First Aid & Resuscitation, Psychosocial Support, and other humanitarian and caregiving programmes. We strive to empower individuals and communities to help save lives.
JOB PURPOSE
To support the Singapore Red Cross Academy in streamlining operational processes (e.g., registration, billing, and reporting) and improving workflow efficiency. The intern will assist in process evaluation, propose improvements, and generate management reports to support decision-making.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist the Senior Coordinator in reviewing and evaluating operational processes (e.g., course scheduling, enrolment) to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for digital or procedural improvements.
• Generate accurate sales and operational reports using TMS data or other tools.
• Support the design and implementation of simplified workflows, templates, and SOPs.
• Provide assistance in day-to-day administrative tasks and facilitate cross-functional coordination as required.
• Contribute to project updates and reporting to inform management decisions.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Qualifications and Experience
• Currently in Year 2 or final year of polytechnic or university studies.
• Students pursuing Business Analytics, Business Process Management, or related disciplines are preferred.
Additional Skills & Knowledge
• Basic understanding of process mapping or workflow improvement techniques.
• Proficiency in digital tools such as Google or Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of Singapore's training landscape, including government grants and accreditation bodies, is highly advantageous.
