Incorporated in 2005, Singapore Medical Group (SMG) is a public-listed organisation with a network of private specialist providers across diverse medical disciplines, and complementary diagnostic imaging and health screening services. Within Singapore, SMG has more than 30 clinics strategically located in central Singapore and mature heartland estates. The central clinics are situated at Paragon, Mount Elizabeth Novena Specialist Centre, Mount Elizabeth Orchard, Gleneagles Medical Centre, Downtown Gallery, while the heartland clinics are situated at Bedok, Bishan, Hougang, Jurong, Tiong Bahru, Punggol and Toa Payoh. This hub-and-spoke model provides ease of access to our patients and is aligned with our promise to provide patient-centred care to every individual. To further elevate the patient experience, HiDoc, a telemedicine application, was created in 2019 to enable virtual consultation and digital storage of the individual’s health records. The Group has four established pillars, namely Aesthetics, Diagnostic Imaging & Screening, Oncology and Women’s and Children’s Health. In each of these disciplines, we are committed to providing our patients with experienced doctors and proven technology through our network of providers within Asia.
Job Scope / Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Analysis and Preparation
- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing data from various business systems.
- Support data quality assessments by identifying inconsistencies, anomalies, and data gaps.
2. Process Documentation and Mapping
- Document existing data flows, transformation processes, and business rules.
- Assist in developing "as-is" and "to-be" process maps as part of the data transformation initiative.
3. Reporting and Dashboard Development
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and data visualisations to support decision-making.
- Assist in generating insights and summaries for internal stakeholders.
4. Support for Transformation Initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and transformation objectives.
- Provide support in the implementation of data improvement initiatives.
5. Research and Best Practices
- Research modern data transformation tools, visualisation tools, methodologies, and governance practices.
- Provide findings and suggest improvements based on industry best practices.
6. Cross-Departmental Collaboration
- Participate in meetings, workshops, or sprint sessions with stakeholders from various departments, including IT, operations, and business units.
- Assist in documenting key discussions, decisions, and action items.

Requirements / Skills:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Basic understanding of data analysis techniques and familiarity with tools such as Excel, SQL, or similar.
- Strong attention to detail with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
