Bosch has been present in Singapore since 1923. It first began as a collaboration with Diesel Electric (Malaysia) Pte Ltd. The company delivered several ‘firsts’ products from Power Tools and Automotive Aftermarket into the Southeast Asian market. With the acquisition of Diesel Electric in 1973, Robert Bosch (SEA) Pte Ltd was born. Following the set-up of new business divisions and expanding services, a new building was built and commissioned as the new regional headquarters in 1996.
Apart from being the Southeast Asia regional headquarters, Singapore is also home to the Asia Pacific headquarters for Automotive Aftermarket and Security Systems for Bosch. In addition, Singapore houses the IT Center for Asia Pacific with an IT operations center to service more than 200 Bosch locations in the region and an IT R&D facility to design and develop global IT platforms and systems for Bosch. In 2008, the Bosch Group established its Asia Pacific regional headquarters for Research and Advance Engineering in Singapore to study technology trends and market opportunities in the region, and identify local technology leaders and strategic research subjects.

To serve the increasing demand of end user needs and providing a great user experience, we look for a passionate and competent UX consultant for the following tasks and responsibilities:
The internship tasks consist of:
- Support Bosch IT team (Singapore) to develop UX strategies for the specific business needs.
- Drive the implementation of a user centered design process within IT projects
- Consultation to business units in introducing and using the Bosch UX process.
- Contribute to the improvement of the user experience of Bosch IT applications and services
Job Requirements:
- Pursing degree in business/economics or User Experience focus
- Currently enrolled in a polytechnic/university
- For non-local students, must fulfill requirements for Work Holiday Pass
- Profound analytical skills
- Ability to solve problems in a pro-active and creative manner
- Work under time constraints on several tasks and projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and presentation skills, customer oriented and self-confident
- Very good English language skills
