You will work with other marketers and the content team to create and execute an effective marketing strategy that will increase brand awareness in the social media space (Facebook, Instagram etc.) and leverage on that to generate leads.
Job Responsibilities
Social Media
- Build and manage the company's social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Instagram and other channels that may be deemed relevant.
- Create or promote shareable content appropiate for specific networks.
- Optimise boosting of content to attract the right audiences.
- Monitor and engage in relevant social media discussions about our company, competitors and/or industry, both from existing leads and customers, as well as from brand-new audiences.
- Work alongside other marketers and content team to help distribute content that educates and entertains our audience and suppports our marketing goals.
- Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from our social media presence.
- Explore new ways and new social networks to reach and engage our target audience.
- Track, measure and analyse all initiatives tp report on social media ROI.
Marketing
- Liaise and network with potential partners/vendors for work and advertising opportunities.
- Collaborate with other marketers and content team to create high-quality content around important, relevant and/or trending terms.
- Source and secure sponsorship opportunities.
- Assist in the creation and production of marketing collaterals and promotional items.
- Develop and contribute to marketing plans and strategies; manage budgets; evaluate marketing campaigns; monitor competitor's activity
- Write various marketing content.
- Manage and assist in all other marketing assignments.
Administrative
- Compile data and relevant information.
- Place and track / update advertising database.
- Assist in organising and coordinating special events / seminars.
- Communicate with target audiences and manage customer relationships.
- All other ad-hoc duties.
Requirements
- Graduates or students majoring in Marketing, Advertising or Communications
- Excellent communication, written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Good administrative & IT skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel etc.)
- Creativity and ability to work on own initiative to meet deadlines
- Tech-savvy with good research and Internet skills
- Attention to details
- Motivated and independent
- Excellent team player
- Knowledge of graphic designing software like Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. Photoshop) will be an advantage
