Job Description

Strategic

  • Explore facilities improvement and saving initiatives.
  • Craft out cyclical replacement and capex plan.
  • Motivate senior/technicians and service providers to serve whole heartedly.
  • Establish good customer relationship and good working relationship with other departments.

Ensure daily operations for M&E team

  • Supervise and monitor senior/technicians and service providers’ rectification/maintenance works.
  • Ensure timely execution of preventive maintenance schedule and planned cyclical and capex work.
  • Ensure timely execution for response and resolve any feedback’s from tenants, users and any sources professionally, effectively and technically.
  • Ensure senior/technicians and service providers respond to tenants promptly.
  • Resolve and escalate/update to the Technical Manager on all technical incidents promptly, effectively, professionally and technically.
  • Liaise with government authorities on M&E initiatives for compliance.
  • Review and recommend Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) and propose changes for review.
  • Assist on audit requirements.
  • Review service providers performance time to time and ensure that they are compliant with the service contract and risk assessments.
  • Work with Procurement Department on purchase requisition and tender specifications where purchases are required. Ensure costs are updated and delivery are made on time.

Administrative

  • Ensure expenditure is keep within the approved budget.
  • Ensure timely submission of the consumption charges to Finance Department for accurate and timely invoicing to tenant.
  • Train senior/technicians to improve their efficiency.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of M&E experience, specializing in Air con and Mechanical systems.
  • Diploma / Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Good communication skills – both in written and spoken.
  • Customer-service oriented and display team lead capability.
  • Display the initiative to continuously improve and good with processes.
  • Capable of multi-tasking and able to work in a fast pace environment.
