Your Role

Software Developer Intern


The Job

  • Work on various interesting data-driven projects in the firm using Python, SQL, Excel VBA. You will design, implement and support the systems used across various functions in a fund management firm.
  • Solve fun and challenging problems with opportunities to team up with and learn from the best in the finance and investment industry. You will get to pick up good software skills and investment market knowledge along the way by working with top class developers and investment professionals.
  • Join us for a 2-week internship in December 2019. If you are right for Quantedge, you will join us full time upon graduating in June/July 2020. We have flexibility for working applicants who may not be able to do an internship in December.


The Requirements

  • Open to fresh graduates or up to 3 years of working experience.
  • Programming experience in Object Oriented languages.
  • Prior programming experience with Python and SQL databases is preferred.
  • Degree in Computer Science or Engineering from top schools would be good but relevant experience and good project lists would be even better.
  • Some knowledge of Finance is a plus.
  • Enjoys solving problems, is detailed and accurate.
  • Motivated and independent team player.
  • Based in Singapore
