Job Description
We are seeking a driven, enthusiastic and highly organized individual to join us as a public relations intern. Excellent communication skills and a strong interest in public relations and social media for the technology and consumer sectors are essential to succeed in this position. Interns support the account team members with their day-to-day responsibilities managing clients and executing campaigns. Intern responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Building and maintaining media lists
- Drafting and editing copy for press releases and media materials
- Participate in brainstorming and executing creative campaigns for clients and/or potential clients
- Securing print and online coverage for clients through targeted media outreach
- Media monitoring, clipping press coverage and creating monthly reports
- Drafting and managing social media posts and tweets on behalf of Porter Novelli and its clients
