We are looking for a Content Creator to enrich our websites with new blog posts, guides and marketing copy.

Content Creator responsibilities include conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, generating ideas for new content types and proofreading articles before publication. If you’re familiar with producing online content and have an eye for detail, we’d like to meet you.

Feel free to share samples of your work or portfolio of your published articles, along with your application.

Ultimately, you’ll deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our audiences, attract customers and boost brand awareness.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
  • Creating keyword-rich content and determining basic search terms for content
  • Work with Marketing in creating a suggested content strategy and editorial calendar
  • Proofreading, editing, and content optimization
  • Creating content posts for plog.com.sg, plogyearbook.com, plogcloud.com
  • Promote content on social media channels
  • Helping to create, document, and systematize the content creation cycle
  • Produce consistent accompanying visual images to illustrate articles
  • Create image links and ensure links are up to date
  • Respond promptly to blog comments and email

Skills Required:

  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Expert knowledge of writing for the online medium
  • Experience with identifying SEO keywords and content strategy
  • Excellent grammar usage, spelling and creativity
  • Ability to test and troubleshoot websites for quality assurance
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Apps & experience with WordPress
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to turnaround copy for feedback quickly while still focusing on project deadlines
  • Willingness to take initiatives and provide input when needed
  • Ability to work independently
