Neo@Ogilvy is looking for an intern to join the IBM Team, we are looking for someone who has a passion for digital media, one who is enthusiastic, and a strong communicator.
Our ideal candidate must be open to immersing themselves in the tech B2B industry and be a champion in multi-tasking. Having strengths in project management and creative thinking are a plus.
Interns receive real, valuable hands-on experience to develop their media planning expertise, project management skills and strategic thinking. You will also learn how to work in a professional environment and have ample opportunity to network with department leaders and other professionals in the digital marketing field.
It is a great opportunity to work on a globally renowned business, to learn extensively across multiple media disciplines, and an understanding of the right tactics to combine online marketing with overarching goals in a professional setting.
What You Will Learn:
- How to create media plans covering: search (Google), social (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter), display advertising and content syndication.
- Building relationships with our media partners and vendors
- Setting up of campaigns across different platforms including but not limited to Google Adwords, LinkedIn, Facebook, Sizmek etc
- How to track digital media results using various technology platforms, report results, and making recommendations based on the outcomes
- How to research the target audience, depending on campaign objective and media strategy
- Handling budgets, finance processes and managing campaign costs
- Creative feedback and viral loops between our Facebook Page, twitter, and blog accounts
- Assist our Media Managers in building and presenting digital media strategy.
- Plenty of additional opportunities in related projects.
What We Require:
- Has interest in digital media and performance marketing
- Strong communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Organized, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments.
- Strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with digital media landscape is perferred, but we will also train.
