Job Description

What we offer:

The internship is structured to immerse you in the on-going activities around the following:

• Conducting industry and country research to support internal decision making process

• Arranging research reports on innovations in shipping markets

• Assisting in the conducting of financial analysis, risk analysis and ratings of potential and existing clients

• Assistance in creation of company and ship ratings

• Assistance in preparation of cash flow modelling

• Tracking the charter employment and repayment schedules of existing clients

• Requesting for ship valuation of potential and existing clients’ vessels

• Organizing files for repaid and existing customers

• Preparation meeting minutes for Relationship Manager

• Preparation of client meetings

• Support in the approval and closing of new transactions

What we expect:

Currently pursuing a university degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Finance, Business Administration, International Management or equivalent

• Fluency in German and Business English

• Strong team orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the
ability to develop key relationships

• Ability to adapt progressively, with strong analytical skills, enthusiasm and intellectual
curiosity
• Proficiency in office IT software, especially in Microsoft Office applications

• Some experience in the banking and financial services industry, under previous
apprenticeships/ internships, would be advantageous
