Project Title: Bilingualism and Biliteracy in Preschoolers: A Longitudinal Home-School Transition Study

Project Introduction: The project is a baseline longitudinal study qualitatively documents how bilingualism and biliteracy develop in preschoolers from diverse language groups and social classes from K2 to P1.


Job Description

We require a bilingual (English & Chinese/Tamil) part-timer who can help us transcribe and translate videos/audios of interviews, classroom and home observations using Microsoft Word, or similar software; classroom talk includes student group work.

Part-timer should be able to work independently and be responsible in submitting their work within stated deadline. Flexible work schedule and will be able to work from home. 

Students who are currently pursuing their undergraduate or graduate studies are welcome to apply. Please indicate your expected graduation date and if you are studying full-time or part-time.
