Business Development Assistant

About the role

As a Business Development Assistant you will be assisting the Business Development Manager and liaise with vendors and Landlords, to build and maintain strong and effective relationships in order to generate business and increase revenue.In addition to developing a full understanding of our service offering, a requirement to clearly identify prospect requirements and demonstrate effectively the advantages of our solutions to meet the client’s needs.

The skills you need to excel in this position include:

Find new markets and channels for product and service distribution .Explore and negotiate the prospect of acquiring other similar companies; analyzing concepts for joint ventures with other brands that appear to be synergistic .Responsible for lead generation, managing relationship, and clients meetings.Develop marketing campaigns that compliment company sales strategies Identify requirements for new products and services and anticipate a possible and potential system that will lead the market .Respond to the needs of customers and manage sales processes .Manage certain accounts of the company

Manage the communication of the organization with clients via means like emails, telephones, and websites

Respond to inquiries made by clients about company products and services in a timely and friendly manner

Act as link between the organization and the clients to ensure clients take more interest in products and services rendered by the business organization

Identify and communicate with new business leads for the

Provide required support for the organization’s business development team, especially in activities relating to Marketing and sales management

Develop operational contacts, which will provide needed support for the tasks undertaken by the organization’s business development team

Contribute to the management of the organization’s systems to ensure things are done accurately

Manage reports and management information to ensure the company meets up with requirements made known by clients

Support the business development manager when required by him/her

Work under direction of the business development manager

Assist the manager to make inquiries on small projects and to handle them from start to finish

Cooperate in positive manner to the growth of the organization by providing required assistance to relevant staff and organization’s partners

REQUIREMENTS

Computer Literacy

  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Gmail.

Language Abilities

  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese – to liaise with Chinese speaking associates.

Job requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retailing or Mass Communication
  • At least 2 years of working experience in Marketing, A& P or marketing communication preferably in beauty and FMCG industry.
  • Creative with an excellent aesthetic sense
  • Team player
  • Resourceful and able to withstand pressure and tight deadlines
  • Strong initiative and motivated
  • Able to work with minimum supervision
  • Good interpersonal and networking skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Office Working Hours

5 days work weekMonday – Friday 9am – 5pm Rest on Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays.
