We have created original experiences for organisations such as UNESCO and Singapore Tourism Board. Experiences created by the artists we represent have been shown at high-level forums led by the UN in Singapore, Bangkok and Kyoto. Our content creation, distribution and consultancy services help to fund the artist incubation and research activities of The MeshMinds Foundation.

Job Description

As Arts and Project Manager, you will be managing ongoing relationships with existing and upcoming local and overseas artists to help them deliver creative technology projects. Upcoming projects:

Programme & Project Management:

  • Managing 7 local artists to make their art come to life using Augmented Reality including project managing the arts management students. Managing the relationship between the National Arts Council and The MeshMinds Foundation.
  • Please Insert Human Shanghai: Assisting the Chief Community Builder for China and Korea to manage the 10 artists from Shanghai to create their VR animations, AR characters and 3D printed characters.

Research:

  • UN Environment: As Strategic Partners, MeshMinds and the UN Environment have the mission to mobilize creative technology to achieve more awareness and action towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals. As Arts and Project Manager, you are tasked to identify new ways to use emerging technology to highlight their key messages in global campaigns. 
  • Asia VR/AR For Impact Lab: Working closely with the research scientists, you will manage data collection and compare modalities plus interactivities in AR/VR experiences of existing and new projects including project managing support. Research and maintain knowledge of Art & Technology emerging trends and development that address social, ecological and economical challenges.

Education:

  • Supporting our status as Apple Consultants by project managing upcoming workshops with schools and emerging creative technology campaigns. 
  • Coordinate with technology and venue partners for workshops and training sessions, and panel discussions.
  • Identify and develop partnerships with other educational collaborators.

Marketing and Communication:

  • Developing marketing materials (press release, collaterals etc) to boost MeshMinds programmes and showcases.
  • Weekly content creation for social media and blog.
  • Manage and maintain MeshMinds blog, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram.

Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in Arts Management/Business Management or a related field is generally required for this position. Applicants should be strategic thinkers with amiable personalities, positive outlooks, and expert communication skills. Organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are also beneficial.
