Before the incorporation of Masons Home Décor, the founders of the company have always pondered about how most Singaporeans viewed local businesses. Out of pure curiosity, we did a public survey and realised that the results were rather predictable -The immediate thought that comes to mind was how much profits businesses were earning and that the selling price of most products were just not justifiable.
Being individuals who had a great love for the gesture of gifts and the aesthetic design of home décor products, we also realised another saddening truth -Individuals were preventing themselves from purchasing home décor items and purchasing gifts. The reason? They felt it was simply not worth it given the fact that it is more expensive to get by. Their mentality also suggested that they felt it was 'foolish' to make a company rich by purchasing such aesthetically beautiful products at high prices.
These saddening facts inspired us to want to make a difference. This marked the beginning of our journey. Our brands promise a variety of premium yet economical products so that individuals do not need to worry on sacrificing on something essential such as a meal. We felt that there should be no barrier to making yourself happy through a feel good item your home. Cost should not prevent anyone from giving flowers as a token of appreciation, gratitude, or love.
We will stop at nothing to be a recognised community driven brand. We see ourselves as a social enterprise. We have several lifelong plans in the hope of giving back to society over the coming months.
We believe that we are a rocket ship that is heading for the moon (literally). Within a year of business, we already have two warehousing and one office space.

SALES and MARKETING INTERN / CONTRACT STAFF (with some operational responsibilities)
2 positions needed! We assure you that this is not the type of internship whereby you are tasked to do mundane administrative duties. There will empowerment and vital decision making on your part.
Duration:
- To begin immediately
- Contract ends 15 to 20 December 2017 (negotiable)
Working Hours:
- 10:00 am to 5:30 pm, Mondays to Fridays
Remuneration:
- $1050 a month excluding commission and bonuses

Location:
- Month of September 2017 - New Industrial Road (1 km from Bartley MRT or 6 bus stops from NEX)

- Creating collaborations with other businesses and organisations for a goo cause
- Creating relationships with other retailers
- Building brand awareness
- Social media management
- Increasing rank in the search engine
- Create marketing programmes to boost sales
- Attacking all platforms that lead to sales
- Handling sales enquiries and walk-ins
- Everything sales related
- For the month of September (2 weeks, some operational duties will be required. e.g. fulfilling orders by arranging deliveries to get familiarised with the whole system)
