Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and curious intern to join our team and support research on tissue culture and cryopreservation of wild animal cells. This internship offers practical training in cell culture techniques, cryopreservation protocols, and exposure to innovative research at the intersection of regenerative biology and wildlife conservation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining and expanding primary cell lines derived from wild animal species.
  • Learn and apply cryopreservation methods for long-term storage of biological materials.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and laboratory safety guidelines.
  • Record and analyze experimental data accurately.
  • Review and apply insights from scientific literature to experimental planning.
  • Participate actively in lab meetings and discussions.

Requirements

  • Quick learner with the ability to adopt new techniques effectively.
  • Strong interest in scientific research and wildlife conservation.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and critically evaluate scientific papers.
  • High attention to detail and adherence to protocols.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills for experimental troubleshooting.
  • Prior experience in cell culture or cryopreservation is an advantage, but not essential.
