Job Description

The Community Partnerships Intern supports the day-to-day operations of Make-A-Wish Singapore’s fundraising and partnership initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience in donor engagement, event coordination, and community outreach — all contributing to the organisation’s mission of granting life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

Key Responsibility Areas

Support Fundraising and Donor Engagement

  • Assist in identifying fundraising opportunities and supporting donor stewardship efforts.

  • Help maintain and update donor and partner records in the database.

  • Support the execution of fundraising campaigns, including digital giving, corporate outreach, and community events.

  • Contribute to the development of donor appreciation and recognition initiatives.

  • Assist with the preparation of proposals, reports, and marketing materials.

Assist with Events and Campaign Implementation

  • Support the planning and coordination of fundraising events, including logistics, registration, and volunteer engagement.

  • Help ensure that all events and campaigns align with Make-A-Wish Singapore’s mission, branding, and regulatory guidelines.

  • Coordinate administrative and operational tasks related to fundraising and community outreach.

  • Prepare post-event summaries, reports, and data tracking for evaluation and improvement.

Collaboration and Learning

  • Work closely with the Community Partnerships team to learn best practices in non-profit fundraising and relationship management.

  • Support and engage with volunteers during events and activations.

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute creative ideas for fundraising campaigns and community engagement.

  • Undertake any other related tasks assigned by the supervisor or Director.
