Little Farms is Singapore’s neighborhood market, specializing in the freshest and highest quality produce, meats, seafood, dairy and more. We’re a quickly growing startup hoping to revolutionize the food sector both in retail and online. We opened our first store in February of this year (with more planned in the near future), though our current focus is launching our online home delivery business in the coming weeks.
With the coming launch of our online delivery business, we are looking for a social media intern to join our team. The right candidate will have strong knowledge and understanding of the digital media landscape (including various social media websites), as well as a passion for food. The intern hired for this position will need strong critical thinking skills as well as proven creative abilities to integrate into our team. We are excited about our online launch, and believe it will be a challenging, valuable and fun learning experience.
-Plan and develop a targeted social media strategy that promotes the brand’s ethos and values
-Monitor and post on social media platforms (Facebook and Instagram), engaging with visitors when necessary
-Photograph products for use in website product imagery
-Contribute to website blog and other relevant online and marketing platforms
-Social media advertising campaign creation and analysis
-Cost/benefit analysis
Requirements: Open to students with various backgrounds, though Marketing, Business or Communications majors preferred. Fluency in English required. Must demonstrate thorough understanding of social media and be passionate about the food industry. Must have photography and design experience.
