Job Description

Here, you will contribute to KKday's expansion in the Singaporean market. You will also be an asset to the Singapore team as you help them explore a territory unfamiliar to the company. This is a challenging opportunity and a great chance to do some groundbreaking work!

Responsibilities

Editorial

Write and curate articles travel-related articles (practically everything relates to travel)

Research travel trends and pitch the content to the team

Liaise with other content channels to create branded content for KKday

Work with our Head of Content to grow KKday blog’s pageviews and click-throughs

Assist with editing work

BONUS if you have knowledge in SEO and google keywords

EXTRA brownie points if you have experience with Illustrator, PhotoShop, HTML and/or Final Cut Pro/ Adobe Premier

Copywriting

Compelling ad/ marketing copy is your forte

You bridge the gap between what the brand wants to say and what consumers want to hear

Excellent writing skills in the English language, with strong thorough knowledge of the fundamentals of writing, grammar, syntax, style and punctuation.

Your copy stands out without being sectionalist, clearly communicates the key points and drives toward the desired result while maintaining the brand voice

Editing the copy for our travel experiences

Community

Develop and execute strategies to engage our travelers, including PR, social media and events

Respond to community feedback

Assist in any other ad-hoc marketing initiatives where necessary

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Loves to travel and work in a startup
  • Excellent command of English
  • Ability to write viral content sets you apart
  • Has prior editorial/writing experience
  • Independent, enterprising and self-driven personality
  • Critical thinker with strong commitment to produce quality content
  • Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
  • Because you read everything, you will let us know what book you are reading now somewhere in your application
  • Ability to design is a plus
  • Fluency in Chinese is a major plus
  • Some past marketing experience is a plus
  • Must be able to commit for at least 3 months
  • We are always open to 6-months internship
