22 Feb 2017 – Calling all musicians!! Kazuu is a primary social network for music and the crowdfunding of music, and announces its soft-launch of a new mobile app that targets musicians and their interaction with fans in the Asia Pacific region.

Kazuu music is a first-of-its-kind app which allows musicians from everywhere to connect with merchants and customers. The app creates a way for musicians to connect with the public directly for music services: music equipment sales, training, collaborations, and most importantly real-time interaction between musicians and individuals.

The mobile app will also help musicians to obtain crowdfunding for music projects – a novel idea which is known for tech start-ups, now applied into the music world.

Kazuu Music was started by two music-preneurs in Singapore. The founders recognize that currently there is a void and systemic change in the global music business. “The global music business is changing, Kazuu shall be the premier e-commerce platform for trade and services related to music,” said Isa Seow, one of the founders of Kazuu. Seow is a Harvard and Cambridge graduate, educator and, former major label artiste based in Singapore.

Currently musicians do not have a platform to obtain gift-based crowdfunding from the public. For example, when a local band is seeking a small sponsorship for travel, equipment, or cash for their next recording, a band can put up that information on Kazuu.

“We will be the sole and primary platform for music sponsorship, creating a novel revenue channel for musicians and DJs in the industry” said Satish Krishnan, the businessman entrepreneur turned techno-preneur based in Singapore.

Kazuu Music will be expanding its activity in Singapore from Feb 2017 onwards. Kazuu has plans to fully launch in Malaysia and Indonesia in 2018.
