JOB DESCRIPTION
Overall Job Objectives
- Oversee accounting functions, which include management and fixed asset reporting, journal entry preparation, balance reconciliation, and activities related to a period close.
Core Responsibilities
- Responsible for monthly Audit schedules of the company and its subsidiaries including statement of comprehensive income and financial position in accordance to FRS.
- Assist in budget and financial forecasts.
- Assist in all taxation matters.
- Document all essential financial control procedures.
- Provide the team with current FRS and legal update.
- Assist to streamline on-going process within the finance operation.
- Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends as assigned.
- Perform any other accounting, finance and related matters when required.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree / Diploma in Accountancy / Finance
- At least 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience.
- Experience in full set accounting, and preferably with some audit background.
- Knowledge in SAP Business One (would be preferred)
- An analytical, hands-on team player with positive and mature thinking.
- Meticulous, accurate, trustworthy and able to work independently.
- Proficient in accounting system, Excel and MS Word.
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
