J Walter Thompson Singapore Pte Ltd – Intern – Assistant Planner

We want sharp minds and passionate hearts to help shape thinking and communications for global and local brands. The strategic planning intern is responsible for:

• Probing brands’ and clients’ business needs and challenges
• Researching and understanding different consumer/ audience segments – why people think, feel and behave the way they do
• Category and competitive analysis
• Crafting strategic presentations

• Interns will be mentored by senior planners to sharpen strategic thinking and input into creative work.

  You should have:

  • An analytical mind that enjoys getting deep in to a subject (reading reports, articles, case studies)
  • Curiousity about people from all walks of life
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfort with data
  • Powerpoint or keynotes skills are a plus
  • Prior work experience in advertising/ research/ marketing is preferable but not mandatory
  • The ability to thrive in a dynamic, creative environment
